What do I need to do to get started?
Getting started with Anveo is a quick process:
- Check If Number Is Portable: If you will be moving your number to Anveo, you can check whether your number is portable here.
- Sign Up: Sign up by clicking "Create an Account"
- Add Funds to your account: Anveo is a pre-paid service, which means that you first add funds to your account, and then transactions are deducted from the account balance.
- Buy or Port Phone Number: Either buy or port your existing phone number. When buying or porting a phone number, you will need to select one of the phone rate plans for the phone number
- Connect Device to Anveo: Connect your device to Anveo by following the phone administration guide. You can find your Anveo SIP credentials on the Anveo portal by hovering over the 'My Account' menu → 'Account Preferences' → on the left clicking SIP Device Registration.
- Sign Up For E911: If you live in the USA or Canada, then E911 is required. You can find more information about Anveo E911 here

What is the difference between Phone Number prices and Regular Subscription Packages (Free, Starter, Professional and Business)?
A subscription package gives your account access to certain features. For example, how many devices can you connect (extensions), can you use email to fax feature, etc. Regular Subscription packages do not include phone numbers.
On the other hand, phone number rate plans are plans for a specific number.

What device do I need to use Anveo?
Anveo supports all SIP ATA adaptors and IP phones (such as Yealink, Grandstream, Polycom, Obihai, etc devices just to name a few). You also may use 'softphone' apps with Anveo (such as Zoiper and Phonerlite). You will just need to follow the device's / app's admin guide on how to connect it using Anveo's server information and SIP credentials.
