Anveo can deliver SMS over SIP using 2 SIP Methods.
* MESSAGE SIP Method
* INVITE SIP Method

SIP Headers
|
For INVITE SIP Method Anveo uses X-ANVEO-SMS-FROM, X-ANVEO-SMS-TO and X-ANVEO-SMS-MESSAGE SIP headers to pass SMS related information.
For MESSAGE SIP Method Anveo uses X-ANVEO-SMS-FROM SIP header to pass sender's phone number.

At the moment DNS SRV is not supported and thus SIP URI MUST include fully qualified domain name (or IP) and port. For example: smshandler@mydomain.com:5060

If your SIP device is registered with Anveo.com please be aware that SIP registration is ignored for SMS delivery over SIP.
